I know Not What Awaits on the Morrow

I know Not What Awaits on the Morrow

I know not what awaits on the morrow

Nor what in this life for me shall be,

But I’ve a blessing worth any sorrow

I’ve the sure Hope of eternity!

The troubles and trials will surely come

Their timing and sum I cannot know

I am a pilgrim without place or home

While I sojourn on this earth below

Here I have no continuing city

I seek one to come above the sky

Where I’ll dwell with the Lord, the Almighty

Who reigns supreme from His throne on high

How short and trivial will seem the days

And how feeble my complaints and pain

When compared to heaven’s eternal rays

The temple full of His glor’ous train!

So teach me, Lord, to number all my days

To apply my heart unto wisdom

That I live unto Thy glory and praise

Striving always first for Thy kingdom!

Hebrews 13:14,

Psalm 90:12

Matthew 6:33

The Battle is Won on Our Knees

The Battle is Won on Our Knees

Can we not see the forest for the trees?
The battle is not won by our strength, but on our knees.
There is a God in heaven on His throne.
He waits to bless and answer the prayers of His own.
How small a view we seem to have of prayer,
How swiftly troubles turn our hope into deep despair.
Instead of constant communication
We cry to our Father in desperation.
In His love and mercy He hears us still,
He hearkens to our call and our need He will fulfill.
He yearns for us a closer walk,
That throughout the whole day we might commune and talk.

More of You, Lord

 More of You, Lord

Less of me, more of You

In everything I do

Oh Father, teach me this

On earth to know heav’n’s bliss

This humble prayer I make

If Thou must, my heart break

Until all that shines through—

A reflection of You.

Supreme Alone

Supreme Alone

Supreme alone in His mighty power

Our God is a consuming fire

He spoke creation into existence

To Him belongs Preeminence

His voice, like great thunder and many seas

Is full of wondrous majesty

Lo, behold our King, the Ancient of Days

Girded with strength, worthy of praise

His hand ruleth over all creation

Who would stir up His indignation?

Sing unto the Lord now with thanksgiving

Creatures and everything living!

Bless and extol Him that sitteth on high

He, Who’s presence shook Mount Sinai.

The Lord our God Omnipotent reigneth!

His grace our frail souls sustaineth.

His resurrection is Satan’s defeat

Death and hell are beneath His feet.

He can cast soul and body into hell

Jesus Christ our King will prevail!

He is coming back one day for His bride

We will with Him ever abide.

Every knee will bow to Him in that day

Every tongue will confess and say

That He is Lord to the Father’s glory

Professing His authority.

And He will reign in peace and righteousness

We will serve Him in humbleness.

Philippians 2:11

I Tremble with Awe

I Tremble with Awe

10-26-25

I tremble with awe that God should desire

To pluck me as a brand from out of the fire

I’m unprofitable for Him at best

I, the lesser by the Greater am blest.

I’m unworthy of His care and love

And my home prepared in heaven above.

Oh Lord, let me serve You with everything

My heart and mind in Your cause enlisting.

A living sacrifice, I am to be

I lay all on the altar before Thee.

Thou has freely removed all of my guilt

Take, I pray, and consume me as Thou wilt.

Zachariah 3:2, Luke 17:10, Hebrews 7:7, Romans, 12:1

My Kinsman Redeemer

My Kinsman Redeemer

Thoughts after reading Zechariah 3.

When Satan lifts his accusing finger

I thank God tor my Kinsman Redeemer

He hath exchanged my filthy rags for white

Behold, the Judge of the earth will do right.

And what Satan sees and loudly points out—

To try to cast in my heart fear and doubt,

Was once most sadly accurate and true

But old things are gone: God makes all things new!

A new Master to love and serve have I,

The Lord Jesus; Ruler of heaven and sky.

At the moment of my salvation

Oh what heavenly joy and elation!

Of all the Gospel news this is the best,

That as far as the east is from the west

He hath removed my transgressions from me

And From the powers of darkness I’m free!

Nevertheless, while on earth I persist

I must be sure the devil to resist.

Lest I yield sacred ground to his vile plot

And start down a path God would have me not.

As a shadow at noon, he flees away

When I bring the Two-edged sword to the fray!

The shield of faith quenches each fiery dart

That seeks to plant seeds of doubt in my heart.

What God hath said will also come to be

I will live with Him for eternity.

American church, wake up

American church, wake up

The work is great, laborers are few.

Half hearted service just won’t do!

unprofitable servants at best—

Vile, lukewarm, and carnal the rest

Have we done that which is our duty

Have we fulfilled Jesus’ decree?

Are we a lukewarm, distasteful spring?

Nauseating to our own King?

Will we heed the King’s rebuking voice

Will we, His bride, make the right choice?

We must return to Him, our first Love

And heed His warning from above

Let us no more put off or delay

Or be un prepared for that day

As a thief in the night, shall he come

To take all of His servants home

Check the oil, trim your lamps, burn them bright!

Fill the world with marvelous light!

Oh American church, wake from sleep,

Your mission can no longer keep

Quit your self-indulgence and arise!

Serve the Master of earth and skies.

Your life is not for leisure or ease

Nor for you your lusts to appease

The wrong path will end in disaster.

You can only serve one master

Oh Lord, turn our nation back to You

You are just in all You do

Be done on earth, as in heav’n Your will

We would plead for your mercy still.

When all the nations start assembling

To drink from the cup of trembling

You will have the final victory

You alone will write history.

Fear Not the Coming Persecution

Fear Not the Coming Persecution

Lord, we pray You’d give us courage

To preach the Gospel far and wide

If we’re slain for speaking the Truth

Let it spread on our blood-stained tide

Fear not the coming persecution

Not the enemy’s bloody sword

To be absent from our body

Is to be present with our Lord

For after they kill the body

There is no more that they can do

For us, death is only a door

To enter into life with You.

Oh the exceeding privilege

For us, a martyr’s death to die

May our death, like the Son of God

Point souls to God in heav’n on high

9-19-25

We sow in tears but reap in joy

We sow in tears but reap in joy

From the blood of righteous Stephen

To Charlie Kirk yesterday

Their testimony stands to all

Christ is coming back one day

The world hates the truth they proclaim

They try to silence their voice

“They kill us as sheep all day long”

But now in heav’n those souls rejoice

And through their costly sacrifice

We know the blood of the slain—

Who gave their lives for the Savior

For His cause died not in vain.

We sow in tears but reap in joy

Like the dandelion’s seed

The more the world tries scattering us

The more for Christ we succeed!

So let the persecution come

That it spread the gospel flame!

If we must perish for a cause

Let it be for Thy dear name!

Oh how happy our humble lot

If we are counted worthy,

To suffer shame and die for Thee

To live with You in glory!
