Come in Prayer
Our Father asks, "Give me thy time.
Richer the blessing sublime
When in prayer you come and seek Me
I have promised there to be."
Oh that we'd spend more time in prayer
On Him casting all our care
Oh that we would confess our sin
And seek a pure heart within.
"Ye have not because ye ask not."
From the Bible we are taught
And with faulty motives sought
You ask amiss and receive not.
Yet for us He has rent the veil
With God the righteous avail
"Where two or three are in My name
That prayer will not be in vain."
