Awake My Soul
Praise the Lord I’ve been forgiven!
Though my sin was red like crimson
I’ve claimed His vict’ry o’er my sin
A new heart He has wrought within
Awake my soul, rejoice and sing
Magnify the name of thy King
My mouth shall Thy goodness extol
O Thou, Who cherisheth my soul
Use me for Thy glory, I pray
Humbly I give this piece of clay
Fit me for service and refine
Until my life is wholly Thine
Awake my soul, behold and see
What wondrous things God’s done for thee
He knoweth thy frame is but dust
Commit thy way and fully trust
