Christian, are you praying, really praying
For brothers and sisters in distress?
For those martyrs who for Christ are dying
While we take our leisure in the west.
Yes, there are some who are really praying,
Who are not entangled in this life,
They are fighting in the battle waging,
Girt in God’s armor, and primed for strife.
But how about us, who long have time wasted,
Caught up in self, fashion, and this world?
Can we face the infidel foe’s hatred
If persecution by Satan’s hurled?
