Oh, Most Holy Lord

 

Oh most holy Lord, Thou art God alone,

By Thy breath the heavens were formed,

Thou rulest supreme from Thy royal throne

In majesty and pow’r adorned

From everlasting to everlasting

Thou wast, and is, and shalt e’er be—

JEHOVAH, Whose strength is never failing,

Righteous Lord, for eternity.

 

Thy kingdom is an everlasting one,

Thy years can have no searching out

Thy will on earth, as in heaven is done

And Thou shalt return with a shout

For soon Thou shalt return to claim Thy bride

We Thy church shall rejoice to see,

He, who for our lives shed His blood and died—

The Spotless Lamb of God is He!
