Yours Alone

Yours Alone

Yours alone, O precious Savior!

Bought with the price of Thy blood,

Yours to use—I am Thy debtor

Take and use me for Thy good.

Freely now I give my all to Thee

Naught I withhold from Thy hand

For Thou spared not Thy Son for me

And bid me before Thee stand

I with awe see Thy love for me

Which none can measure but Thou,

And as I behold on the tree

Thy torn, bleeding thorn-crowned brow

For a wretched, poor soul like I

You stepped in to save from hell,

And with Your Spirit drew me nigh,

And came in my heart to dwell

Yours alone, O mighty Savior,

Nothing of worth I can give

But with every breath endeavor

With single mind for Thee live

I the vessel thy work to do

My token of love for Thee,

And may all that I do for You

Bring Thee honor and glory.

Yours alone, O may I ever

Seek Thy will and not my own,

Bond of love that none can sever

Gladly I will make Thee known,

May I be faithful till the day

When I shall behold Thy face

And with joy profound prove and say,

“Twas worth it to win the race. “
