Jesus, the Soul’s Refuge
Jesus is the soul’s dear Refuge,
A solace for the aching heart,
He e’er liveth to intercede
In our troubles He taketh part,
He is our ever-present Help
In Him alone we may confide
The smallest need; the greatest care
‘Neath His shelt’ring wings we abide.
Jesus is the soul’s dear Refuge
A haven from the storms of life,
When He whispers, “Peace, all be still.”
All quiet is the raging strife,
“In all points tempted like as we,”
He understands our grief and woe,
Avail yourself of His free grace
The sweet peace of God feel and know.
