In His Fold I Safe Abide

 

In His fold I safe abide,

All my fears in Him confide,

When in my heart doubt appears,

He my soul assures and cheers.

 

No load I carry alone,

Boldly I come to His throne,

For me He will intercede,

His grace in my time of need.

 

As a shepherd with a lamb

So the God of Abraham

Watches o’er me day and night

Shielding me from ill and fright.

 

My mortal frame made of dust

Will cling to Him in full trust,

One day I’ll awake to see,

All He has prepared for me.
