Isaiah 41:10 Poem

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am Thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

I am Thy God

“Fear thou not;” O, how can I fear?

His Word tells me, “I am with thee:”

He always has an open ear.

O, what solace I have and cheer!

“Be not dismayed; for I’m Thy God:”

And by His words I am impelled

Although I’m weak and very flawed,

In His righteousness I’m upheld.

“I will strengthen and help thee; yea,

And be thy everlasting Guide.

I will chasten when you’re astray.

Though you stray, I’ll ever abide.”

Though doubts creep in and fears assail

Master, drive them all far away,

For this one thought shall prevail;

Thou art the Light, the Truth, the Way.
