Do Not Doubt in the Darkness

 

Do not doubt in the darkness

What God has shown you in the light

There’ll be times you have questions

But trust Him. Make Him your delight

Sometimes we wish for roadmaps

And plain red and green traffic lights

But we’d have no need for faith

And fret over upcoming plights.

When you’ve prayed to know God’s will

And searched His Word with ready mind

But your life doesn’t make sense

And you feel like you’re walking blind

Then its time to trust His heart

Give to Him all your doubts and fears

Humbly bow low before Him

In His bottle He holds your tears

In weakness come before Him

The contrite He will not despise

He’ll sustain through the darkness

When on Jesus you fix your eyes.
